About Us

There is only one Neuro-Ophthalmologist in the entire state of Arizona currently practicing Neuro-Ophthalmology.

 

Our Neuro-Ophthalmologist, Dr. Subei, evaluates all visual diseases arising from systemic disease to the brain and nervous system utilizing the latest technology offered in the 21st century to evaluate both the anatomy and physiology of your Neuro-Visual system. This includes high-resolution 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography Angiography, UltraSonography, Optical Coherence Tomography, Perimetry visual fields, Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiography, as well as physiologic studies including Videonystagmography, Visually Evoked potentials, Electro-Retinography, and Electroencephalography.

 

Dr. Subei has designed his own MRI protocol that detects most Neuro-Ophthalmic disease entities based on his experience working at many University programs and with many pioneering Neuroradiologists.

Dr. Subei obtained his doctorate in medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He pursued his interest in Neurology at the University of Arizona at Phoenix and completed a fellowship in the rare field of Neuro-Ophthalmology at Michigan State University. Dr. Subei is well known for his compassion for his patients. He has dedicated his career to helping people maintain their vision and treat those with rare and unique disease entities unknown to many physicians.

 

Dr. Subei is always advocating for his patients well being. His goal is to provide Arizona with all it's Neuro-Ophthalmic needs, at a world-class standard.
